NBHM Regional Mathematics Library: The library of the Department has earned the status of Regional Library since January 2001. This is a national facility being created by the National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM), Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India.
FIST Supported Department: The Department is recognized by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India to get support under their Fund for the Improvement of Infrastructure in Science nad Technology (FIST) Programme.
UGC-SAP-DRS Programme: The department has been awarded UGC-SAP-DRS Programme by UGC since 2004. The recognized thrust areas of the department under this programme are Function Analysis and Relativity.
