Overview

Sardar Patel University, in its 54 years of existence, has become a leading seat of higher education. Several of its departments and academic programs have been nationally acclaimed and internationally reputed. Today, SPU offers a variety of courses at all levels covering almost every discipline of knowledge.

Adding to our portfolio of courses, we are excited to offer a new program: The Post Graduate Diploma in Logistics and Retail Management (PGDLRM)!

The PGDLRM program will prepare students for a career in the logistics and retail industry sector by focusing on important areas of Leadership and Management, Retail Practices, Business Intelligence, Supply Chain, Logistics, and principles of Six Sigma. We would like to address these areas by helping students transform their dreams into reality. Here, students will bridge the gap between their latent potential and a successful professional career in the retail industry with an accredited Post Graduate Diploma in Logistics and Retail Management.

Objective

·   Master the theoretical concepts necessary to understand the dynamics of Logistics and Retail Management.

·   Understand modern and decision making techniques to successfully operate as practitioners of Logistics and Retail Management.

While there are other retail programs being offered in the country, the SP University-StraEd retail education program has a unique set of differentiating factors:

·   Courses are designed to help students create a productive and rewarding future for them.

·   Courses have an application plus classroom approach built around the American model of education, offering the student an experience in communication and analytical approach at the point of induction, and thus leaving no room between learning and delivery.
